Turkije en Noord-Cyprus tekenen gasdeal (en)

Turkey and Turkish northern Cyprus Wednesday signed a deal to prepare legal grounds for gas exploration around Cyprus, the New York Times reports. The move was in response to drilling by the internationally recognised Greek Cypriot state that started early this week, seen by Turkey as a provocation.
