EP-president Buzek betuigt steun aan slachtoffers en nabestaanden van Russisch vliegtuigongeluk (en)

Following the news of the plane crash in Yaroslav, Russia, the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek i stated:

"I am deeply saddened by the news of this tragic plane crash. It is a human disaster and also a great loss for the world of sport and ice-hockey.

I extend my condolences to the families, friends and supporters of the victims. I have heard that some of the passengers have survived the catastrophe, I wish them a speedy and full recovery."
