Former German FM Fischer has told Der Spiegel Berlin's decision to stay out of the anti-Gaddafi coalition to build ties with China and Russia was a "debacle" which "isolated Germany from its alliance partners ... Our supreme interest should be holding tight to our anchoring as part of the West."
