EP-president Buzek condoleert nabestaanden overledenen ongeluk op Volga rivier in Rusland (en)

The President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek i sends his condolences and support to the families of the victims following the sinking of a boat on Volga River.

President Buzek said: "Our hearts and minds are with the relatives and friends of the victims of this tragedy. Our thoughts are with those passengers still missing. I hope that they will be found alive as soon as possible. I wish a speedy and full recovery to the injured.

We give our full support to the rescue teams and those offering assistance."
