Verklaring voorzitter Europarlement over vliegtuigcrash in Rusland (en)

The President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek i made the following statement on the tragic plane crash in north-western Russia that left 44 people dead and several injured today:
"On behalf of the European Parliament, I express my deepest condolences to the people of Russia and to the families and friends of the victims of the disaster near Petrozavodsk.
Our thoughts and hearts are with all those whose lives have been touched by this unexpected tragedy, those who have had their loved ones taken from them too early. I wish a speedy recovery of those injured".
