Oostenrijkse dr. Harald Wögerbauer benoemd als lid van de Europese Rekenkamer (en)

Following his nomination by the Austrian Government and Parliament, Dr Harald Wögerbauer has been appointed Member of the European Court of Auditors for the period from 1 April 2011 to 31 December 2013. In accordance with the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, the appointment was made by the Council of the European Union, after consultation with the European Parliament.

This appointment comes about as a result of the departure of ECA Member Dr Hubert Weber who resigned as of 31 March 2011, after 16 years of service at the Court.

Dr Wögerbauer is a Member of the Court’s Chamber I, which has audit responsibilities for agriculture and rural development, environment, fisheries and maritime affairs as well as health and consumer protection.
