Europees agentschap voor samenwerking tussen energieregelgevers komt in Ljubljana (en)

Late on Sunday evening the EU member states decided to designate Ljubljana as seat of the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators - ACER. The agency will complement and coordinate the work of national regulatory authorities.
Besides coordinating the national regulatory authorities, ACER will also participate in the creation of European network rules, take binding individual decisions on cross border energy infrastructure and give advice on various energy related issues to the European institutions.
ACER will take up its duties in Ljubljana from 3 March 2011 onwards.
