Reinfeldt en Malmström nemen deel aan Baltisch Ontwikkelingsforum (en)

In connection with the Swedish Presidency of the EU, the Baltic Development Forum is holding its annual summit in Stockholm on 5–6 October. The summit will be opened by Crown Princess Victoria, and Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt i will hold an opening speech along with, among others, the Prime Ministers of Finland, Latvia and Lithuania. Minister for EU Affairs Cecilia Malmström i will participate in a session on the Baltic Sea Strategy.

The Baltic Development Forum is a network of decision-makers from politics, industry and research institutions in the Baltic Sea region, who work to support growth, innovation and competitiveness in the area. On the agenda at the summit are the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, issues relating to climate change, the environment and energy, the economic situation, relations with Russia, entrepreneurship and knowledge exchange.
