The Presidency of the European Union is deeply concerned by reports of air attacks on a camp in Northern Yemen of internally displaced persons, in which at least 80 civilians have lost their lives.

The Presidency of the European Union reminds all parties to the conflict of their obligation to respect human rights and international humanitarian law. The Presidency reiterates its call to the parties of their obligation to take all measures necessary to protect civilians.

The Presidency conveys its deepest sympathies to the families of the victims.
