Dialoog tussen politiek leiders uit Noord-Amerika en Europa in Dubrovnik (en)

The Swedish Presidency of the EU and Croatia will jointly host this year’s Croatia Summit in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on 9–10 July. Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt will attend, and will deliver one of the opening addresses at the conference.

This year marks the fourth time that the Croatia Summit is being held. It serves as a forum for cross-border dialogue between political leaders from Europe and North America, and especially focuses on the integration of the Western Balkans region into European and transatlantic cooperation structures. The theme of this year’s conference is Europe’s Strategic Imperative – Energy, Investment and Development, and will highlight issues such as the challenges and strains that the countries of the Western Balkans are exposed to due to the global economic crisis.
