Persconferentie op 4 mei: samenwerking EU en Balkanlanden op het gebied van terrorismebestrijding (en)

Eurojust is organising a seminar on counter-terrorism issues in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of the Interior and the police of the Czech Republic. The seminar takes place on 4 and 5 May 2009 in Prague.

The aim of the seminar is to exchange best practices and information between judicial and law enforcement authorities focusing on the area of the Western Balkans. Speakers from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, will elaborate on the Western Balkan countries perspective. They will talk among other things about the situation in the Western Balkans after armed conflicts and the judicial and law-enforcement support of the European Union in the region.

A press conference will take place on Monday 4 May at 12:00 and will be attended by Czech Justice Minister Jirí Pospíšil, Czech Interior Minister Ivan Langer, Prosecutor General Renáta Vesecká, Vice President of Eurojust Michèle Coninsx and National Member of Eurojust for the Czech Republic Pavel Zeman.
