In his speech delivered in the European Parliament, M. Topolánek i informed Members of the EP about the state of health of former Czech President Václav Havel. The MEPs joined in to wish Havel a speedy recovery.
The Czech Prime Minister informed his European colleagues about the state of health of former Czech President Václav Havel. ‘Václav Havel is a man who symbolises the fall of the Iron Curtain. On behalf of all of us, I would like to wish him to recover soon’, said the Prime Minister. The Hemicycle of the European Parliament then burst into applause to express their sympathy for Václav Havel.
