Europees Netwerk voor de Preventie van Misdaden (EUCPN) komt bijeen op 3 juni 2008 (en)
On Tuesday, 3 June 2008, Tomaž Peršolja, Head of Criminal Associations Section of Criminal Police Directorate at General Police Directorate, will chair the second meeting of EUCPN during Slovenian Presidency of the EU Council. He will be assisted by Melita Globočnik Trnovšek and national delegate Tatjana Mušič Senčar.
The European Crime Prevention Network (EUCPN) was established on 28 May 2001 by Council decision. Its aim is to promote preventive activities in Member States, find the best ways for good practices to be presented to a broad professional and lay audience, especially as regards the prevention of "traditional" crime.
The participants will be discussing network committee proposals as regards the implementation of the 2008 action plan. They will meet the representatives of the Centre for Strategy and Evaluation services from the United Kingdom, who will carry out the external evaluation of the network and acquaint the participants with a framework plan of the evaluation.
Also presented will be results of projects and initiatives identified as important by the working group, which can contribute to the development of good practices of crime prevention in the EU and beyond.
