Replacement of the Latvian Permanent Representative to the European Union

The Council of the European Union has been informed of the appointment by the Latvian Government of Ambassador Normunds Popens as Permanent Representative of the Republic of Latvia to the European Union.

Ambassador POPENS took up his duties on 20 August 2007.
