EU-verklaring over situatie in Transnistrië (en)

The European Union has stated a number of times its commitment to helping to find a viable and sustainable solution to the Transnistria issue and believes strongly that a solution can only be found through the engagement of all relevant international, regional and domestic actors.

The EU welcomes the agreement by the representatives of the Republic of Moldova and Transnistria and the mediators Ukraine, the Russian Federation and the OSCE in Odessa on 26 and 27 September to welcome the participation of the EU and US as observers in the negotiation process.

The EU looks forward to taking part in the next round of negotiations in the "5 plus 2" format.
