Informal Summit of Heads of State or Government of the European Union - Sibiu, May 9
In the context of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Informal Summit of Heads of State or Government of the European Union will take place on May 9, 2019, in Sibiu. The event will be held at the City Hall of Sibiu.
The high-level meeting will be hosted by Klaus Werner Iohannis, President of Romania, the member state currently holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The reunion will be chaired by Donald Tusk i, President of the European Council.
The Informal Summit in Sibiu will be attended by the Heads of State or Government of the European Union, the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker i, and the President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani i.

Practical information:
ACCREDITATION
Access of the media representatives to the Informal Summit of Heads of State or Government of the European Union is done exclusively based on the press accreditation.
The accreditation can be done on the official website of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU i: https://accreditation.romania2019.eu/ by 03.05.2019 the latest.
Please select Informal Summit of Heads of State and Government of EU Member States and fill in the attached files. Following registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail for processing your accreditation application. Within the next 5-7 working days, the journalists will receive by e-mail a notification on the approval or the rejection of their accreditation application.
The accredited journalists willing to take part in the Pool sessions are required to inform about the option at sibiubooking@mae.ro by May 1, 2019.
The badges for the Pool sessions will be collected at the same time with the accreditation badges.
For reasons of limited space, access to Pool 2 (Tour-de-table) can only be allowed for 35 persons altogether. This number includes the official host broadcaster and photographers. Each delegation will receive one access badge for Pool 2, which they will hand over to the official media representative of the Member State that they represent.
COLLECTION OF BADGES
In order to collect the accreditation badges, you need to present the following documents:

-Accreditation approval (please print the confirmation you previously received by email);

-ID card or passport.
The accreditation badges as well as the badges for the Pool sessions can be collected as follows:

-May 1-5: Bucharest, 9.00 - 17.00, from the Palace of the Parliament - The Accreditation Centre of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU, located at S2 entrance (no. 2-4, Izvor Street);

-May 8: Sibiu, 7.30 - 19.00, from the Accreditation Desk located on Avram Iancu Street;
-
-May 9: Sibiu, 7.00 - 17.00, from the Accreditation Desk located on Avram Iancu Street.
LATE ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE
For security reasons, late accreditation may only be approved under exceptional circumstances, although it can be denied. The late accreditation desks are situated on Avram Iancu Street and will be open as follows:
