EU Presidency: debates with Bulgarian PM Borissov and Austrian Chancellor Kurz
MEPs will debate lawmaking progress in the Council with Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Austria’s Chancellor Sebastian Kurz i on Tuesday morning.
Political group leaders will assess the achievements of the outgoing - first ever - Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU with Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker i on Tuesday morning, starting at 9:00.
In a second debate, starting at around 10.00, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz will present the priorities of the incoming Presidency. Austria has already held the Council’s rotating Presidency in 1998 and 2006.
