The informal meeting of EU health ministers will take place on 23 April 2018 in the National Palace of Culture, Sofia. Ministers will discuss healthy nutrition for children and the effectiveness and availability of medicines. They will also focus on the future of healthcare in the EU. The meeting will be chaired by Kiril Ananiev, Minister of Health of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The first session will discuss healthy nutrition for children, one of the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU in the health sector, with a focus on the provision of healthy food for children.

Accreditation information

Accredited journalists can pick up their badges on Friday, 20 April 2018 at the Registration Desk at Entrance B-2 of the National Palace of Culture between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Members of the press arriving in Sofia on the day of the event will be able to get their badges at the same entrance upon their arrival at the National Palace of Culture. Only accredited members of the press will have access to the National Palace of Culture.
