The 10th meeting of the Commission for Economic Policy (ECON) will hold its mandate the 27 September 2016.
The meeting will start with the discussion and adoption of the opinion of Ms. Brighenti:
Collaborative economy and online platforms: a shared view of cities and regions
Rapporteur: BRIGHENTI, Benedetta
Afterwards, ECON members will hold an exchange of views with MEP Roberto GUALTIERI and Mary Veronica TOVSAK PLETERSKI (Director, DG ECFIN, European Commission) on the opinion on Investment Gap drafted by the President of the Committee of the Regions, Markku MARKKULA:
Bridging the Investment Gap: How to Tackle the Challenges?
Final adoption planned on January 2017
The Commission meeting will end with an other exchange of views on the opinion on Fiscal Capacity drafted by Carl Frederik GRAF with the participation of Philipp C. ROTHER (Chief Economic Analyst, European Commission) and Albert BORE (Member of the COTER commission/BUDG working group):
