Due to various terrorist attacks and in spite of its efforts to democratise the country and keep its head up, Tunisia is struggling with its economy. In this context, the EU has decided to help it recover through exceptional - and temporary - measures. On 24 February, MEPs will cast their votes on emergency measures to raise the amount of olive oil that can be imported duty-free from Tunisia and on 25 February, EU-Tunisia DCFTA negotiations opening will be voted on as well - the first full round of the negotiations is scheduled to take place during the week of 18 April 2016 in Tunis.
