Jennifer Baker is joined by Antti Timonen, EPP Group spokesperson, to talk about his group’s and the Parliament’s priorities for this Plenary session. On top of the agenda is the forthcoming European Council preparations. Two big foci: UK-EU Referendum and the infamous migration crisis. The former will be debated on Wednesday, whereas the latter will be on Tuesday. Needless to say, borders control and the future of the Schengen area will the hot potato of this debate. Still on Tuesday, Commissioner Moscovici will present the Commission’s latest corporate tax proposals. Finally, Viviane Reding i MEP will present her report on TiSA on Monday, which will be followed by a vote on Wednesday.
