Romanian prime minister Victor Ponta i survived a no-confidence motion in Parliament Tuesday. The voting quota was not met after MPs and senators from Ponta's party abstained. The vote was organised by the opposition, after Ponta's trial for corruption started last week. Ponta didn't appear in court and refuses to resign.
