Jennifer Baker is joined by Marjory van den Broeke of the European Parliament’s press office to discuss the Parliament’s agenda for this week:

  • AGRI Committee MEPs will work on legislation that would establish the link between animal welfare and public health and allow urgent measures to be passed to tackle outbreaks of diseases.
  • Passenger Name Records (PNR): the Civil Liberties Committee (LIBE) will debate changes to draft legislation that would oblige airlines to hand over data to Member State authorities.
  • Ahead of a vote in Plenary, the Legal Committee will discuss a law that will allow shareholders of listed or large enterprises to have a say on the remuneration of their board of directors.
