Jennifer Baker is joined by James Holtum, spokesperson for the ECR Group, to discuss the European Parliament agenda for this week, in the latest episode of ‘previEUws’.

On the agenda:

• - 

  MEPs will debate the outcome of last week’s EU summit, in particular the sanctions against Russia. In addition, they will vote on macro-financial assistance to Ukraine worth €1.8 billion. Ahead of the summit in Riga on May 21-22, MEPs will also discuss the EU-Eastern Partnership.

• - 

  The Parliament will have a general debate on the Tax Transparency Package, presented by the Commission on Wednesday 18 March.

• - 

  German minimum wage for lorry drivers will be debated by MEPs who will hear from the Commission on the compatibility of this measure with current EU law.
