Addressing the transparency concerns surrounding the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is at the heart of Parliament’s agenda this week. On Wednesday, the International Trade Committee (ITRE) of the European Parliament and Commissioner Cecilia Malmström i will debate the disputed Investor-to-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) provisions in the EU-US trade agreement. “A step forward” acknowledges de Girolamo. MEPs will also hear experts on the potential benefits of TTIP for EU workers and consumers.
