EU safer lorries law pushed back from 2017 to 2022

An EU law to change lorry cab designs to protect pedestrians and cyclists won't enter into force until 2022 after industry lobbying to keep old-syle trucks on the road longer, the BBC writes. The ETSC, a road safety NGO in Brussels, said the 5-year lag will cost thousands of lives.
