Merkel against Catalonian independence

German Chancellor Angela Merkel i on Friday was asked during a press conference what she thinks of the upcoming referendum on Catalonia becoming independent from Spain. "We are for the territorial integrity of all states. I am sharing the view of the Spanish government [who is against it]," she said.
