Roemeens Hof verwerpt idee onschendbaarheid wetgevers en burgemeesters (en)

Romania’s Constitutional Court on Wednesday rejected a law adopted by the Romanian Parliament last month giving lawmakers and mayors immunity from prosecution in corruption cases and criminalising libel. The law has been sent back to parliament, after criticism from the EU and US.
