Drie beste Europese projecten ter voorkoming criminaliteit geselecteerd (en)

On 11-12 November, the meeting of the European Union (EU) European Crime Prevention Network (EUCPN) Best Practice Projects Evaluation Jury will take place in Vilnius. The Jury involves experts from Ireland, Greece, Italy and Lithuania.

The theme of the Lithuanian chairing of EUCPN for the second half of 2013 is Prevention of domestic violence. The EU Member States submitted 18 best practice projects to the competition and 10 more presentations. The evaluation jury, having evaluated the projects submitted, will select the three best ones. During the Gala Award Ceremony on 11 December, the winners will be awarded with 10 000 EUR and 5 000 EUR prizes.

The Conference of presentation of all the projects will be held on 11-12 December in Vilnius. The events being over, it is planned to issue the publication which would include the descriptions of all the projects participants of the competition, summaries of the discussions of all six themes and theme recommendations for the practitioners in the EU states.
