EU-experts bediscussiëren dreiging en preventie van georganiseerde misdaad (en)
On 7 November the representatives of Administrative Approach to Prevent and Fight Organized Crime Network (hereinafter the Network) will meet in Brussels. The main goal of the organization, established in 2011, is to promote, strengthen and develop the role of the administrative authorities pursuing multidisciplinary fight against organized crime at the EU level.
Upon its establishment, the Network has been encouraging cooperation among the appointed contact points in different states, and has created a special Europol platform for experts helping to exchange diverse information.
Representatives of the European Union Member States, European Commission, General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union, Europol, Eurojust, European Parliament and the European Crime Prevention Network are going to participate in the meeting in Brussels.
Andžejus Roginskis, deputy head of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau will chair the abovementioned meeting. The Network’s activity report, prepared by Lithuania, will be presented to the participants of the meeting. The Lithuanian experts will present best practice in applying the Law on Organized Crime Prevention; moreover, they will share their experience on preventing organized crime.
