EU experts vestigen aandacht op medicijnprijzen en vergoedingen (en)

On 16-17 October, a meeting of the Competent Authorities for Medicine Pricing and Reimbursement, which is organized by the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the European Commission, will take place in Trakai. In conjunction with this, a meeting of the EC’s Platform on Access to Medicines will also be held.

The event will cover the issues of medicine pricing, reimbursement and availability, the challenges of small markets, and access to not widely available medicines. In addition, scientific analyses of the pharmaceutical market will be presented and good practices shared.

The meeting of the Competent Authorities for Medicine Pricing and Reimbursement is organized semiannually in the presiding country. The event is chaired by the presiding country and the EC’s Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry.

Experts form all the EU member countries and the European Economic Area i (EEA) countries, the EC, and international pharmaceutical organizations and associations will participate in the event.
