A spike in Slovenian bond prices due to fears its banks might go the way of Cyprus prompted its new PM, Alenka Bratusek, to tell parliament Wednesday that: "Slovenia won’t need aid ... Our banking system is stable and safe and comparisons with Cyprus aren’t valid. Deposits here are safe."
