EU en Albanië bespreken Albanische integratie (en)
The European perspective of Albania will be at the top of the agenda when Albania’s Integration Minister, Mrs Μajlinda Bregu will pay a working visit to Cyprus, between December 2 and 4. Mrs Bregu’s visit comes after the invitation of Cyprus’ Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis, under her competence as President of General Affairs Council (GAC) of the EU in matters of enlargement.
Mrs Bregu is scheduled to have a tête-á-tête meeting with Dr. Marcoullis on Monday, December 3, followed by consultations between the delegations of Cyprus and Albania. Discussions will take place in view of the GAC Conclusions of December 11
The two ministers are expected to also sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Cyprus and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania on Cooperation in the field of European Integration.
Mrs. Bregu’s visit to Cyprus follows that of Albania’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Edmond Panariti, on October 4 and after Dr. Marcoullis’ visit to Tirana, on July 31.
