Conferentie Europees Cultuurprogramma 2012 in Brussel (en)

This year's Culture in Motion conference highlights the huge success of recent European cultural projects and looks ahead to how best this success may be continued. About 1,000 participants registered for the event in Brussels which features two conferences: "European Capitals of Culture" and "European Audiences: 2020 and Beyond". A live feed will stream the event online so you can follow wherever you may be.

European Audiences: 2020 and Beyond showcases 23 European cultural projects with a particular focus on audience development an how best cultural operators respond to the challenge of changing expectations of audiences. This conference is preceded by a European Capitals of Culture conference which is facilitate the exchange of good practices among past, present and future European Capitals of Culture, and at which the Commission will also present its proposal for the future of the European Capitals of Culture beyond 2020.

The Culture in Motion Conference 2012 takes place Monday 15 October 8:30-19:15 (European Capitals of Culture), Tuesday 16 October 9:00-19:30 and Wednesday 17 October 9:30-16:00 (Audience Development: 2020 and Beyond) at The EGG, Rue Bara/Barastraat, 175, 1000 Brussels.
