Spain's Belen Romana Garcia will head the European Stability Mechanism when it replaces the European Financial Stability Facility i in July, reports German daily Handelsblatt. The paper also claims Angel Merkel is backing Garcia and that Germany’s finance minister Wolfgang Schaeuble will replace prime minister Jean-Claude Juncker i as eurozone chief.
