Verbetering service op Europa's grootste luchthavens (en)

More competitive ground-handling services, better use of take-off and landing slots and a harmonised approach to noise reduction and restrictions will be among the measures debated at an expert hearing Tuesday afternoon, 15.30-18.00.

Transport and Tourism Committee MEPs will quiz a large panel of representatives of airlines, airports, national aviation authorities and citizens' NGOs on the risks and benefits of the three-fold "airport package" proposal designed to smoothen traffic and improve traveller services in Europe's most congested airports.
