EU voor gelijke behandeling van werknemers (en)

The European Network for Equality Bodies (Equinet) has published a document entitled "Tackling Ageism and Discrimination: the Equinet perspective."

The main purpose of this paper is to mobilise and support the engagement of national equality bodies (NEBs) during the European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations.

In order to support Equinet members to take action within the framework of the EY 2012, the Tackling Ageism and Discrimination report will be distributed to members and other interested organisations during the year, at the many events Equinet will be participating in or organising.

There will be a keynote presentation at the annual Equinet seminar to discuss the case law of the EU i Court of Justice on compulsory retirement age. The seminar will be taking place in Brussels on 28th March 2012 and it is open to all interested legal experts.
