Zweeds voorzitterschap zet prioriteiten uiteen in Europarlement (en)

Met dank overgenomen van Zweeds voorzitterschap Europese Unie 2e helft 2009 i, gepubliceerd op maandag 31 augustus 2009.

On 1–3 September 19 Swedish ministers will visit the European Parliament in Brussels to present the Swedish Presidency’s priorities in the Parliament’s committees.

”This is an important opportunity to gain support for the Presidency’s priorities from the European Parliament. Almost the entire Swedish Government is attending, and our ambition is to have a strong presence during the autumn, to together push important issues forward”, says Minister for EU Affairs Cecilia Malmström.

The presentations in the committees will be filmed and webcast on the European Parliament’s website and on www.se2009.eu. Please contact the relevant minister’s press secretary for details of possible press briefings in connection with the committee presentations. See also separate schedule for media opportunities via the link to the right.

On 2 September at 14.45 there will be a collective photo opportunity with the Swedish ministers and the chairs of the parliamentary committees. The photo opportunity will take place outside the Protocol Lounges on level 3.
