EU besluit vredestroepen naar Georgië te sturen (en)

Given the seriousness of the situation in South Ossetia (Georgia) and the multiple contacts established since yesterday evening by the French Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Mr. Bernard Kouchner, it has been decided that envoys from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the European Union and the United States will be sent to Georgia to secure a ceasefire as soon as possible.
