Euroscepsis in Noorwegen groeit (en)

A majority of Norwegians are against the European Union membership, according to a new poll by MMI, reports Nationen. Some 44 percent of those questioned were against joining the EU, while 40 percent would support it.
16 percent of Norwegians are undecided, concluded the new MMI poll made for Dagbladet.
This represents an increase in opposition to Union membership has since September when a similar poll showed that 38 percent were against and in January only 27 percent of Norwegians were against joining the EU.
Growing Swedish euro-scepticism
At the same time a new poll in Sweden shows that only 38 percent of questioned would want their country to join the single currency. According to a Skop poll quoted by Ekot/Sveriges Radio, 59 percent of Swedes are against joining the euro.
The opposition to euro has increased since the referendum. During the referendum in September 56 percent of Swedes voted against joining the euro.
