Small businesses fishing for more EU cash

The European Investment Fund's i deputy chief executive Havenith told journalists in Luxembourg Monday the EIF "would welcome" a prolongation of the Juncker fund in 2017. The EIF provides loans to funds for small- and medium-sized enterprises, and already committed €3.4bn, of a planned €5bn, in guarantees, which leveraged another €46.1bln.
