Austria to fast-track asylum checks at borders

Austria intends to process all asylum applications at their borders within hours, under plans outlined by interior minister Johanna Mikl-Leitner on Wednesday. She said migrants would no longer be able to apply at police stations and Austria would accept only those asylum seekers it had to under European law.
