EU gives €17mn to Serbia and Macedonia to help with refugees

Serbia and Macedonia are to receive €17 million to "cope with the unprecedented refugee flows", the European Commission announced Thursday ahead of an eastern Mediterranean-Western Balkans conference in Luxembourg. €7 million will come from a €200 million refugee crisis fund decided earlier this year, while €10 million were added today.
