New Danish government to hold EU referendum by Christmas

A new Danish Liberal minority government, led by Lars Loekke Rasmussen, was presented on Sunday. The governing program includes a referendum before Christmas on scrapping opt-outs from EU justice affairs policies. If approved, Denmark will have the same status as Ireland and the UK, including full participation in Europol.
