Ukip MEP quits role as economics spokesperson

MEP Patrick O'Flynn i, who called his Ukip party leader Nigel Farage i "snarling, thin-skinned and aggressive" after the UK general election earlier in May, stepped down as economics spokesperson for the party, according to UK media. After O'Flynn apologised Tuesday, Farage said his party had "never been more united".
