Rajoy apologises to 'all Spaniards' over party corruption

Spanish prime minister Mariano Rajoy i on Tuesday apologised to “all Spaniards” for a series of corruption cases affecting his Popular Party (PP), including cash payments from a party slush fund. All PP members arrested this week on bribery allegations have had their party membership suspended, Rajoy told the Senate.
