“Initiatives for the sustainability of agro-industrial supply chains conference on 24 October in Turin
Defence of the territory and biodiversity, promotion of production traditions and local culture, by combining sustainability and competitiveness in the international markets.
The Italian Ministry of Environment and Protection of Land and Sea has organised a seminar on “Initiatives for the sustainability of agro-industrial supply chains”. The purpose is to try to define models based on principles such as the defence of the territory and biodiversity as well as the promotion of production traditions and local culture, by combining sustainability and competitiveness in the international markets.
The event takes place from 24 October 2014 from 12 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. The Italian Environment Minister Gian Luca Galletti opens the seminar. Eduardo Rojas-Briales, the Commissioner-General for United Nations Participation in Expo 2015, will address the conference. The seminar is held inside the pavilions of Lingotto Fiere during the “Salone Internazionale del Gusto - Terra Madre”, taking place from 23 to 27 October 2014 in Turin.
