Ewa Kopacz appointed new Polish PM

Polish president Bronislaw Komorowski on Monday appointed Ewa Kopacz as new prime minister and asked her to form a government to be sworn in on 22 September. Kopacz has served as health minister since November 2007 and replaces Donald Tusk i, who resigned to head the European Council.
