Report: Poland nominates Sikorski for EU commission

Poland has formally nominated its FM, Radek Sikorski, as its next EU commissioner and the EU's next foreign policy chief, the Polish press agency, Pap, reported on Thursday, citing "government sources". Polish media speculate it is most likely a gambit to get the energy, single market, or competition portfolio instead.
