President Schulz to pay official visit to Finland 27-28 March 2014

The President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz i will pay an official visit to Finland on 27-28 March 2014.

The programme is as follows:

On Thursday 27 March at midday, President Schulz will meet with the Speaker of the Parliament of Finland Eero Heinäluoma. The meeting will be followed by a press point.

At 2pm, President Schulz will meet with the Prime Minister of Finland, Jyrki Katainen i and at 3.30pm with the President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö.

At 4.30pm, on Thursday, EP President Martin Schulz will give a keynote speech at a public event at EU House with Finnish Youth Cooperation Allianssi.

At 7.30pm, President Schulz will meet with Jutta Urpilainen, Minister of Finance of Finland.

On Friday 28 March at 10am, President Schulz will take part in the EU Committee of the 2014 Youth Parliament with Chairperson of the EU Affairs Committee of Eduskunta, Miapetra Kumpula-Natri.

President Martin Schulz will meet Alexander Stubb i Minister of European Affairs and Foreign Trade at 11am.

Finally at 1pm on Friday, President Schulz will hold a meeting with the Members of the Grand Committee.
